Maker Of GTA San Andreas Sued Again. Over and Over Again Once again, Take-Two Interactive has some serious problems due to Rockstar Games and their GTA San Andreas. Even if the conflict started by the virtual sex scenes hidden within the game and revealed by the HotCoffee mod seemed to have died out when [more] the ESRB rating had been modified, (from Mature to Adults Only), things are not quite like that.

Take-Two had sold, before the scandal broke out, about 12 million copies of the game, which accounted for approximately 600 million dollars. However, the Los Angeles City Attorney, Rocky Delgadillo, decided to calculate that about 200.000 units of the game have been sold solely within the LA city limits, copies that generated 10 million dollars for Take-Two.

So Delgadillo has decided that this sum of money must be recovered, and the only way to do it is to sue Take-Two, even if the company has suffered huge losses once the rating has been changed.

What’s really strange is that, unlike ESRB, who didn’t took into account some “minor” details, like for example the facts that, after all, the sex scenes become available only by applying a mod and that Rockstar Games hasn’t intentionally included the little sex game, Roccky Delgadillo accepts this fact. However, Delgadillo holds Rockstar Games, and thus, obviously, Take-Two Interactive, responsible, because the game’s marketing campaigns has encouraged the development and use of mods.

Although Rocky Delgadillo has announced his warmongering intentions since Friday, up until now Take-Two Interactive has issued no official comments regarding this situation. What makes this whole situation even stranger is that, despite the fact that since the start of the HotCoffee scandal, there have been many American citizens that announced their intention to sue Take-Two, up until now the company hasn’t had any other legal problems of this type.
