The museum is to exhibit about 300 toys and industrial robots from around the world, the news agency said, citing Osaka-based IDU, a real-estate company that is to operate the facility.
Visitors are to also have a chance to interact with robots and learn about them at workshops offered at the entertainment facility.
IDU said it expected the two-story museum draw 400,000 visitors every year.
