Croatia's second largest brewery closed down temporarily on Monday because of problems relating to environmental pollution.
The brewery, Karlovacka Pivovara - located in the [more] industrial city of Karlovac - was emitting excess amounts of carbon dioxide, the Croatian Environmental Ministry stated.
In late February, a local man walking his dog near the brewery was poisoned by the fumes and fell into a coma, from which he has yet to awaken. The pollution also killed his dog, the ministry stated.
