Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots |
The “Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of
the Patriots” trailer that Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has showed at the E3 Media & Business Summit has finally
revealed some significant details about the long expected game. Hideo Kojima’s
work is to be launched simultaneously worldwide in early 2008. “Metal Gear
Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots” will be the first game from the action series
that is released for Sony’s PlayStation 3 video game console.
The trailer that has been
presented at the E3 Summit has featured all the real-time footage from the long
expected PlayStation 3 game, which showcases the return of the popular
characters from “Metal Gear Solid Universe” Raiden and Meryl Silverburgh and
from “Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty” Vamp. The battle arena, which is set
in a war-torn future, of the final game will be seen through the eyes of an
older Solid Snake, who will have been infiltrated himself through a number of
several key locations all across the globe, from South America to the Middle
East.
The actors that have made the
game’s characters famous will voice them again in “Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of
the Patriots”: Paul Eiding will voice Roy Campbell, Phil LaMarr will voice Vamp
and Pat Zimmerman - Liquid Ocelot, and Quinton
Flynn will borrow his voice to Raiden.
“Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the
Patriots” is a very expected game, especially because this will be the first
time that the PS 3’s owners will be able play “Metal Gear Solid” on their
consoles.
