Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy |

It's official my friends, LEGO Star Wars shall battle the evil Sith for the second time. Or, LucasArts would not miss any opportunity to get a buck. It just depends how you look at it. But let's forget about the quest for the unholy Republic credits and focus on what's this sequel gonna bring to the screen.
As you might guess, Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy will give everyone a chance to fool around the world of the original Star Wars movie series and, in the end, to crush the Galactic Empire. It will feature Darth Vader’s pursuit of Princess Leia aboard her Blockade Runner, it will brake the Death Star into LEGO pieces (once again) and will try not to miss any of the key-moments in the story. I"d also like to see Like shaving with his lightsaber, but I hardly think this will ever happen.
What's new? Well, first of all, levels will feature vehicles and creatures that players can ride or exit at will. Second, there's a Free Play mode in which players can customize more than 50 new playable characters by mixing and matching body parts, and can also ride any vehicle they want. Third, we have the usual new stuff: new character-specific attacks and maneuvers, playable mini-kit vehicles, an optional advanced mode for experienced players and so on. ("so on" actually means LucasArts wouldn't say more).
Created by TT Games and developed by Traveller’s Tales, Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is supposed to be released this fall across seven platforms: PlayStation 2, Sony PSP, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Game Boy Advance and PC.
Luke...hhhhh...I am your LEGO! And may the Brick be with you!
