Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided |

The reports and rumours that have been circulating lately are actually starting to make sense, suggesting a pretty positive answer for this news' title question. So here's what we know or at least suspect. Since a while back,
Austin is home to
a new BioWare studio where a couple of ex-
Sony Online devs have already found shelter, and whose alleged purpose is that of making a
Sci-Fi MMORPG. Right, this much is official.
The rumours however don't stop here, but claim that LucasArts is about to leave
Sony Online Entertainment and its
Austin based studio without their beloved
Star Wars Galaxies MMO (which would come as no surprise, seeing what a total mess they made out of it), and that Lucas' is already in talks with a couple of studios for taking over the online Star Wars license - most likely for a sequel. The possible clients so far are Cryptic Studios (City of Heroes) and BioWare. Gee, I wonder who's got the best chance of getting that license? And as a sidenote, were all those italics really necessary?...
